What is the cash-on-delivery (COD) service?

Cash on Delivery (COD) service is one of the valued services offered by SMSA to the seller (the shipper) which enables him/her to authorize SMSA to deliver the order to the buyer (Recipient) and collect the payment on behalf of the seller (the shipper).

What is SMSA warehousing?

SMSA Warehousing service is a service provided by SMSA to store and manage your products in our logistics areas. Warehousing offers duty -free or duty -paid options to cater to the different needs of customers in all industry segments. We also ensure that your storage requirements and inventory management needs are met while providing real-time visibility at all levels to help you control your stock levels, streamline purchases, and improve your order cycle time.

What is SMSA’s special delivery channel service (SDC)?

Special Delivery Channel (SDC) service is a specialized and complete end-to-end secure solution for the delivery of sensitive and high value shipments (i.e. Bank Credit & Debit Cards, VIP Gifts, e-commerce shipments etc.). The service is provided with a fully dedicated call center and delivery team for absolute peace of mind.

What are the services offered by SMSA logistics?

SMSA logistics provide various logistics services as following:

  • Inbound shipping and clearance service
  • Warehousing and storage
  • Value added services including, but not limited to bundling, kitting, price tagging, and security

How will I know that my shipment had arrived at SMSA service center?

Upon shipment’s arrival to SMSA service center, a notification via text message will be sent to the consignee to collect his/her shipment within the center’s working hours.

How long does my package remain at SMSA service center before returning to the shipper?

Your package will be kept for (5) business days from the time it arrives at the service center however, this retention period could vary with some certain type of package based on service type or special SLA between the shipper and SMSA.

Can someone collect/receive my shipment on my behalf?

We always recommend to our customers to collect their own packages but under emergency circumstances it can be collected by another person if he/she provides the air waybill number where SMSA will ensure to verify and record the 3rd party ID details. SMSA takes all necessary steps to ensure the successful and secure delivery.

Does SMSA offer a clearance service?

SMSA offers to its customers the clearance service to all their exporting and importing operations. SMSA offers its customers a clearance service for all their exporting and importing operations.

How can if file a claim/ complaint to SMSA?
